Small Group Leaders
Small Group Leaders connect relationally each week with an assigned group of eight to ten children to speak truth into their lives and celebrate spiritual growth on a weekly basis.
Greeters make the first impression at each small group room by guiding parents and kids through the check-in and security process so they feel welcome and safe on a weekly basis.
Special Needs Team
The Special Needs Team provides a safe, caring environment where children with special needs learn about God's love for them on a weekly basis.
Guest Services makes the best first impression by greeting first-time guests and guiding new families through the registration and check-in process to make them feel welcome and informed.
The Production Team creates a weekly large-group experience and consists of the following:
The Hang-Out Team makes it easier for parents to serve by providing their elementary-aged children with a fun, supervised place to play. Hang-Out volunteers interact with children by playing games, doing crafts, etc.
Zone Coordinators provide support to classrooms and assist in transitioning kids to large group.
In what area do you need the most volunteers?
Often our greatest need is for Small Group Leaders for the 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. services.
Do I need experience to do any of these roles?
No. We train every volunteer and provide everything needed. We provide curriculum, supplies, scripts, and ongoing support. The roles of Stage Host, Singer, and Stage Communicator include an audition.
What's the time commitment?
This varies by role. Our UpStreet staff would love to speak with you about ways you can fit serving into your schedule.
