Food List Collet at Work

On Sunday, July 14, North Point Community Church's Intersect Project is having a Food Drive. Here are two simple ways you can help: bring food and volunteer your time. This is a great opportunity to serve with your family, friends, or small group. Through our Intersect Partners, the Child Development Association (CDA), and North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC), we’ll help feed our neighbors. Last summer we set a goal to feed 1,000 families for a week. Through your Food Drive donations, our partners fed 1,147 families. This year’s goal? Feed 1,500 families for a week.

What is NFCC?

The mission of North Fulton Community Charities is to build self-sufficiency and prevent homelessness and hunger by providing emergency assistance and enrichment programs. By pooling the resources of local religious, business, civic groups, and individuals, NFCC assists families with rent, utilities, transportation, food, clothing, medicine, and other basic needs. NFCC also has enrichment programs, coordinates special assistance to families during the holidays, and matches volunteers with projects.

What is The CDA?

The Child Development Association (CDA) provides affordable childcare and early learning programs that enable preschoolers of low-income working families in our community to make great starts toward bright futures. As part of the Children’s Center, the CDA provides wholesome nutrition, including a balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack, emphasizing fresh fruits, vegetables, and reduced fats.

What is The Intersect Project?

Serving made simple is the goal of The Intersect Project.

The Intersect Project is a North Point Ministries initiative to mobilize to community service those who call one of our campuses their church home. The Intersect Project partners with nonprofit organizations that are already meeting the real needs of our communities.
