  • If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
  • What food tradition should we start for our family? (Waffle Wednesday, Taco Tuesday, Takeout Thursday, Pizza and a Movie Fridays, etc.)
  • What should we start as a holiday tradition?
  • If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?
  • What’s your idea of a perfect weekend?
  • What is one, fun, family memory you have from the past year?
  • What could our family group name be? (e.g., Team Boyett, Clear Crew)
  • What is special to you about our family?
  • What part of the day do you most look forward to?
  • What do you like about having a brother/sister (or cousin or best friend)? 
  • What do you do really well? (Be sure to have ideas for your kids if they struggle.)

  • Sitting together, take turns describing yourself using just one word. (No repeating words.) See how many times you can go around the group. If someone gets stuck, another person can offer a good suggestion.

  • If you were in charge for a whole weekend, what would you do?
  • If you were invisible for the day, what would you do?
