  4. Who are the people directly benefiting from your work? How can you consistently hear from them?
  1. How might loneliness be impacting your team?

  2. What are the ways you are currently investing in connection among your team? What could you do to improve the strength of work relationships?

  3. Does the team have clarity in their mission and daily objectives? Why or why not?

  4. Does your team know the impact of their work? How can you share stories of those who are impacted by what they do?

A simple way to invest in connection with your team is to use an icebreaker question at the beginning of team meetings.

  5. If you had to give up a favorite food, which would be the most difficult to give up?
  6. If you could borrow anything from anyone for one week, what would you borrow?
  7. If you could have a personal assistant to take care of one task a day for you, what job would you chose to have them do?
  8. What product or service could you easily and happily represent as their national spokesperson because you love it so much?
  9. What was your first concert?
  10. What is in the trunk of your car right now?
  11. What is one lesser-known thing that surprises people about you?
  12. Tell us about a schoolteacher that made a big impression on you (for good or bad).
  13. What aspect of your daily routine do you look forward to the most?
  14. What is the worst storm or disaster you've been in? What was it like?
  15. What clubs where you involved in during high school and college?
  16. If you had one extra hour of free time each day, how would you use it?
  17. What is something you own that is of sentimental value?
  18. What famous person do you know or have you met face to face?
  19. What compliment do you value most these days?
  20. Who is one of your heroes?
  21. If you were to write a book, what would it be about?
  22. What is something you’d try if you were guaranteed not to fail?
