  1. Before hearing this message, how would you have defined the term gospel? Who or what shaped your understanding of the term?
  2. Growing up, did you characterize the overarching message of the church as Good News? Strict News? Irrelevant News? Something else? Why?
  3. What is it about Christianity, as you understand it, that does not fit under the heading "Good News"?
