I am Vijay, and I have been serving as a men's group leader for two years.
I began serving when a group I was already in encouraged me to start my own group. I did not feel at all qualified to lead men in studying the Bible or growing in their faith. I was scared to step out into what I felt God was calling me to because I did not think I knew enough to take on that responsibility.
Now every Tuesday night is the best night of my week. Leading my group has helped to grow my relationship with Jesus more than any other step I have taken. The friendships we have developed, the conversations and study we have done, have all enriched my life and the lives of my group members in ways none of us saw coming. It has been such a blessing to play a small part in each man's journey into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
